Welcome to the Team Kaizen Academy in Gravesend, Kent.
Our Street Dance classes are designed for all levels, from beginners and enthusiasts right through to the seasoned professional. All of our classes are taught in a fun and friendly environment by the Team Kaizen tutors.
Students receive thorough training in an array of dance styles such as hip hop, locking, popping and breaking. These lessons are taught by specialist Team Kaizen instructors that have trained extensively in these styles.
Workshops and masterclasses are also arranged with some of the best dancers and teachers in the entire county so students always have a chance to keep on developing their skills.

Groups & Ages
We have 4 groups at our academy for different age groups as follows:
Kid N Play (5-6 yrs): Our youngest group where students develop an understanding for music and rhythm. This is where they receive their first introduction to the foundations of street dance.
Happy Feet (7-9 yrs): This is the middle group where students expand their learning by looking at musicality and more complex rhythms.
Party Machine (10-12 yrs): Here students start working more on polyrhythms. We start to build on becoming one with the music.
Party Machine (13+ yrs): Our eldest group where students are given a greater understanding of music and how our bodies connect with it. Sessions are more intense and here they’ll be working on honing their skills and techniques.

Seeing The Development
The talents of every individual are always showcased in our end of term performances and talent shows. Extra performances may also pop up over the course of the term.
We always love welcoming parents to these shows to see how their children are progressing and it also gives them the opportunity to have a chat with the team.
Our students also enjoy taking part in these performances and showcasing the new skills and moves they have learnt over the term.
We channel our passion for dance into our students’ progression. Every student leaves us with new skills, more confidence and new friends.

All fees must be paid in advance, this could either be done in full on the first day, in two instalments (week 1 & week 6) or in three instalments (week 1, week 4 and week 8). A one off registration fee of £25 is chargeable to all new students
